We´re proud to announce  that DP4Remote has successful finished it´s first  big tour.

The german band "Sportfreunde Stiller" toured with their album "MTV Unplugged in New York" in dezember in germany and austria selling out venues between 8.000 and 15.000 capacity.

The sound-system was supplied by RAINAGE. The Martin Audio tour-rig included 2x 12 W8L (main-hang), 2x 8 W8LC + W8WLD (out-hang), 12x W8LM + 4 W8LMD (center-hang + nearfills) and 24 WS218X. All speakers were driven by Labgruppen amps and were controlled by XTA controllers (DP226 + DP448).

The signal-distribution, time-alignment and eq-ing was realized with a two redundant XTA DP448 which were controlled via WIFI.

RAINAGE wanted to test DP4Remote and used it as backup to XTA´s AudioCore running on a tablet PC. Later on the tour DP4Remote was used more and more when the system engineer had to walk around in the venues for checking coverage and SPL.

On top a alpha-version of the iPad-Release of DP4Remote was tested giving a real world feedback to the develpers.
